Injunctions
In the event that you are experiencing Domestic Abuse, the Courts can award protection in the form of an Order called an "Injunction", and these fall into two categories:-
- Non-molestation Orders - these protect a person against harrasment, intimidation and pestering. They also prohibit the use of threats of violence and the encouragement of someone else to act in such a way.
- Occupation Orders - these regulate the occupation of a propety. The court can also exclude a person from entering a specified street or area.
You do not need to suffer in silence. If you are being subjected to any type of abuse, and you believe a Court Order is needed for your protection, please do not hesitiate to contact us.
We appreciate this is an emotional and highly distressing topic and we wil do our utmost to guide you through the process as sensitively as possible.
